PROPERTY BUYERS GUIDELINE

This guide is intended to examine various aspects of purchasing a property in Nigeria and guide you through the buying process.  Therefore, certain issues need to be considered. This will give you the knowledge of the steps that must be taken in order to own and invest in a property in Nigeria.

ELIGIBILITY
Any nationality can purchase in the Nigeria Real Estate market.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

I. BY AN INDIVIDUAL:

    Identification for all Buyers
    Signed Agreement known as Power of Attorney


II. BY A COMPANY:

    Certificate of Incorporation
    Memorandum and Articles of Association
    Board Resolution
    Signed Agreement known as Power of Attorney


III. BY AN OVERSEAS COMPANY:

    All of the above must be attested by the Embassy
    Signed Agreement known as Power of Attorney


AGENCY FEES
For helping through the process of buying from A to Z we charge fees of 10% of the purchase price to the Buyer/Seller. This is an agency fee which is payable upon the time of purchasing a property.


HOW DO I BUY A PROPERTY?
ODIBOSS PROPERTIES will find you the property that’s suited to both your needs and wants. Once you have signed his REGISTRATION FORM, the search for your desired and specific property shall begin.  Once we have found the property you’re looking for and a price is agreed on with the seller, a deposit amount of the agreed price is required at the contract-signing stage of the Agreement known as Power of Attorney.
The completion of the procedures/registration will be finalized at Ministry of Lands, Housing & Urban Development.
